California New Car Dealers Add Two New Attorneys
SACRAMENTO – The California New Car Dealers Association recently named two new directors. Alisa Reinhardt re-joined CNCDA at the end of December as the Director of Regulatory Affairs. Her prior stint at CNCDA was as Staff Counsel during 2015 and part of 2016. Reinhardt most recently served as Senior State Regulatory Specialist for Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America.
Newly appointed Director of Legal Affairs, Anthony Bento, who began at the association at the beginning of January, came to CNCDA from Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard, one of the largest law firms in the Sacramento region. Prior to that, Bento gained knowledge of the justice system when he clerked for the Third District Court of Appeal.
“Broadening our legal department with two specialists really gives us a leg up,” said CNCDA President, Brian Maas. “It’s of particular importance that we’re well represented in both areas considering the number of regulatory agencies in California as well as the legal compliance challenges our dealers face.”
The California New Car Dealers Association is the country’s largest state association of franchised new car and truck dealers representing nearly 1,200 dealer members. Last year California’s franchised new car dealers sold more than 2.5 million new and used cars and trucks.
